The greatest coach in team history! Tough end to a good era in Toronto, still don't think he's the main issue with this team. But what is done is done.

Best coach, someone had to take the blame and it's always the coach first

After the championship I thought he'd be our Pop for years to come. What a difference a year makes. Coaches are hired to be fired! Always the first to go when adversity strikes.

Thanks for everything coach! Best in franchise history!

Think about all the innovations he’s added to the game:
Box and one
Triangle and 2
Shorting the pick and roll if you have a bunch of non shooters
Winning the possession battle
Making offensive rebounds more prominent in the game
Peel switching

All of that in 5 years while the organization is bleeding talent ever year with very little in return.

Great coach, our best ever. Couldn’t manage egos, apparently weird at times with his assistants and Front Office. Those two things probably did him in.

I thought he was gonna be our Jerry Sloan or Popovich.

More suited to a veteran lineup. Other teams with that rotation will definitely consider him. Front office failed him.
Organization can be defined as an organized body of people with a particular purpose. Not random.

Best coach we ever had. Deserves credit for helping bring a title here. He had his flaws but I don’t blame him for becoming frustrated with a very limited roster. I wish him the best in his career.

Best coach in franchise history. I also thought we had found our pop. I suspect there is a personality quirkiness about nurse that prevents that. Seems like his people skills are a little off.

But he was extremely innovative and creative. Players hated playing against him (except for the 3rd and 4th option guys who probably loved it).

Seems like the fanbase generally wishes him well.

Please hire Udoko. I hope they don't get a Lenny Wilkins type who is great interpersonally but lacks the tactics. That type of coach is better with talent-loaded teams. We need tactics and structure.

I think Nick Nurse will be proven right and find continued success on a veteran team.
