Like the others I do, but by all accounts he an elite worker and from the film he does have a good mechanical base. The high 70s FT% he ended his NBL time with shows he can figure things out.

I'm a fan of Rupert, but he was losing minutes toward the end of their playoff run and Coulibaly is currently gaining minutes during their deep playoff run. I do think the NBL is much harder to play well in for prospects, though.
Another mild concern is that Rupert's athletic testing was garbage. Not sure what was going on there, as he looks like a very good athlete. Hopefully it's a Kawhi situation where he was just off that day.

He was always the best player on the floor when matched up versus his peers in high school because he was healthy. And now he had a down year in college and basically did what Gradey Dick did. More was just expected of DWH so he dropped and is now potentially available beyond the 20th pick. You could probably trade down and get him plus another good player.
Despite all that happened he still remained a knock down shooter, which is also a skill we sorely need. He fits like a glove on this roster whether we choose to win now or rebuild, and he might end up being the best American born prospect taken if his health holds up.
He’s younger than Coulibaly, younger than George, younger than anyone not named GG Jackson. He’s almost a year younger than everyone else. There’s so much time for him to blossom. Get this guy in the room with Alexander McKechnie and watch him flourish.

Wait, wtf he's STILL 18 until Aug 1.If he doesn't get back to elite shape he still could be Michael Redd.

I like his upside at #13 spot. Think he has a high floor as 3&D, underrated defender. Just didn't see enough in terms of shot creation and handles. Supposedly has a good in between game but didn't see it, had a low usage role at Duke. Was Scottie's teammate for 1 year in high school. I'd bet you could trade down if they really liked him though.

Yeah, he’s only a month or two older than GG Jackson. He’s a guy I’m focusing on from now moving forward. There’s no denying the struggles at Duke but injuries will do that to a guy. I’ll never forget when Masai took OG he simply said “we need talent”. That’s the case with DWH as well. He would’ve been too 5, top 10 at the worst if he hadn’t gotten hurt a few times this season.

Let's trade #13 for #21 and #22. Draft Sidy Cissoko and Dariq Whitehead. I feel like 1 of those 2 should develop into a starting SG/SF.
Nets would draft Cason, Bufkin or Nick Smith.
