The Siakam and Portland rumors haven't gone away and JROY deserves one thread so he can continue to pray to the basketball gods that the Blazers smarten up and go young...

Siakam for Simons, spart parts, 3rd pick... If Scoot available I think this gets done. If Charlotte trades second pick for strippers and Brandon Miller is on the board it gets trickier.

Hot take: I prefer Amen Thompson over Brandon Miller.

Amen can legitimately play the 1 and 2. We need to develop his shooting, but he’s basically a tall John Wall.

Brandon Miller seems like the Danny Granger / Rudy Gay category… his hype is entirely attributable to Jonathan Givony.

I have a feeling this is the year. Maybe not the #3 pick but we’ll get one of Indiana’s 1sts or something.

We just hired a coach whose #1 skill is developing players so there’s gotta be more young players coming in. And after the 13th pick we have no more draft picks until 2025.

TOR would seem to need an upgrade in shooting from the guard spot.

Simons will fit in wonderfully as long as no one pretends he’s a pg.

Is Damian really Portland's best player ever? I understand better than Bill Walton because of injuries and longevity but better than Clyde Drexler? I'd rather Clyde easily but maybe I'm biased.
