Updated Cap Sheet

I put Yak on a declining contract because I think that makes most sense now.

good call on the jakob decreasing. i would assume same.
i for one think raptors keep thad. its a 5 mil delta (1 mil + replace him with min player $2mil = 3 mil cost for that spot vs keeping him for 5 mil delta)

Did we officially non-guarantee Thad?

Good question. I assume it, but with Fred gone maybe not. That deadline is today though.

I mean Thad at 8 million could be used as a trade chip

For the capologists out there, how does this bode for re-signing either Pascal/OG/Both?

Jak declining makes sense with Fred gone.

So Raps only have 3 contracts penciled in for 2025

Sounds like Masai is still evaluating

We'll be up near the tax if we grab Thad. Makes more sense to just grab whatever backup guard for the 4.5 BAE we like. Whatever guard has to settle for that who hasn't made enough money to take the minimum somewhere makes more sense for us than another PF with Siakam, Barnes, OG, Achiuwa and OPJ arguably all being best off at the 4.

I'd rather take a flier on a guard.

So have we room for one more addition. Would it have to be by trade?

Boucher, Otto and Flynn(21 Million) for Lowry's expiring lol,
When will we just change the name of 25 of the 30 teams to the Washington Generals?

Please advise….

Here is a possible projection. Should be plenty of room now. This projection has OG accepting his max extension this off-season, but even if he waits until FA and starts north of 30 can fit him and Pascal.

Yak on a 4yr declining deal would be pretty awesome. Hoping the Gary deal is good.

I wouldn't assume Jak has a decreasing deal. Don't forget about the PO.

If the 4th year on Yak's deal being a PO is true I heavily doubt it's a declining contract. It will probably be structured similarly to FVV's last contract. Year 1 to Year 2 decline, then increases the rest of the way.
