All that tanking and the 16th pick is HOU's best young player by a country mile.

Been an interesting season so far. Sixers/Celts/Nuggets looking like the clear contenders so far and Wiz/Pistons/Grizz/Jazz/Hornets/Blazers looking like heavy lotto favs even this early. And then there's a whole lot of parity beneath them in that middle. But it's early, we'll see some teams make moves to rise up. I do like to see some young teams like the Thunder/Magic/Pacers/Rockets shake things up though.

But we can see that old guard of superstar start to age out and the younger stars starting to really plant their flag. All those heavy miles on those legs starting to have an effect.

Watching the Kings play after gave me baskebtall whiplash. Felt like I was watching a different sport lmao

Fox/Sabonis is far from a perfect duo but goddamn have they optimized their talents perfectly and created an offense that can shoot the cover off the ball. Huerter/Barnes/Keegan/Monk/Vezenkov/Lyles/Davion can all shoot to varying degrees. And their pace of play is just ridiculous with Fox as the maestro. Really fun team to watch hope they can repeat their success from last year.

I think a Pascal for Jabari Smith Jr, Tari Eason and filler would a good deal both sides should consider.

Sengun is just fun to watch...the passing is Jokic-like.

NBA teams are probing the availability of two-time All-Star guard Zach LaVine and there’s been increased openness from the organization and player about exploring a trade, league sources said. Here’s what you need to know:

Many of the NBA’s 30 general managers are in Chicago on Tuesday for the annual Champions Classic, the major opening night of the college basketball season, and this is where conversations could begin.

LaVine, who’s in his seventh season in Chicago, is averaging 21.9 points, 3.0 assists and 4.8 rebounds per game.
The 6-foot-5 guard has started all 11 games for the Bulls so far this season.
Chicago fell to 4-7 after a 118-109 loss to the Milwaukee Bucks on Monday and will host the Orlando Magic on Wednesday.
Backstory

After Chicago’s 124-104 season-opening loss to Oklahoma City, players, led by veteran Nikola Vučević, expressed frustration with the Bulls’ offense, which they felt was similar to last season’s after being under the impression things would be different, league sources said.

Off the court, league sources said Chicago, which is largely running things back with its core from last season, would like to bring back DeMar DeRozan, who is on an expiring deal. But his future in Chicago is uncertain as well. The Bulls and DeRozan have discussed an extension, but the sides remain apart on years and salary, and the 34-year-old DeRozan wants to see where the team goes before committing to a return.

I know Orlando would never do it but it would be so awesome if we could get Anthony Black or Suggs off them in a Siakam trade package. Black is shooting the three much better in the league than in college. Suggs is really starting to come into his own as well. Barnes, Suggs, OG, would be such an incredible defensive trio.

I was totally wrong on him. I had Melo as the better prospect for the first 2 years. It's not even a debate at this point even in Charlotte. What's so unique about him is his ability to take it to another level both on offense and defense, despite falling into the chucking trap. Game vs Boston was a perfect example; almost cost them the game at the end of regulation but went crazy in OT on offense and shut Tatum down on defense.

League's best players seem to be transitioning from wings to guards: Booker, SGA, Ant, Hali, Luka, Maxey. And then you got Wemby and Chet re-defining the C position. Tatum is probably the only young star that's a wing, am I missing anyone?

You consider Ant & Luka a guard and not a wing? I'd put them in the wing category even though they have guard like skills. Ant is closer to Tatum then he is to looking like SGA Hali Maxey

Ant is definitely a guard to me: 6'4", 220. Luka, I can see the argument either way.

Shows the value of having multiple assets and picks. Sengun was the OKC pick that the Rockets traded a pick from Detroit and the Pistons for. Not even great picks but Rockets pulled an absolute coup in the Sengun trade.

Does anyone like these painted courts? I'm wondering did the NBA partner with the Optometrist Guild?

Indy is in good shape. Loaded with good, to really good, players. And of course, Haliburton is a stud.
