New Rotation post-trade.

Mostly I like it but still think we need more Scottie. Especially in the 4th. He should have the highest usage not Quickley.

Scottie's been pretty good, other than for that 1 game against GS where he wasn't needed offensively. He's, as usual, playing within the flow of the offense.

20/6/5 (41% FG)
20/8/1 (50% FG)
20/6/4 (53% FG)
6/3/2 (27% FG)
26/6/3 (55% FG)

I've said several times that Barnes needs to touch the ball more often, AND earlier, in the time he is on the court. When he's engaged in every possession, we do better and he plays better overall. It's definitely nice having 4 legitimate 20ppg guys in the SL though.

So Dennis is pretty much still starting

I don't know what kind of back room/back door deal darko struck with Dennis when he convinced him to sign here.

He's been playing extremely well and has noticeably changed the way he's playing ever since the Miami game. People get stuck on a narrative and refuse to change their minds even when presented with new data. His minutes will need to go under 20 and his USG under 10% for these people to finally stop complaining.

Well, apparently he was told he would be a starter here when he signed, so there was som sort of deal lol

He's averaged 32, 29 and 30 minutes a game the last 3 seasons on playoff teams. Of course he expected to play starter minutes here when we lost our starting PG.

yeah i got 9 years and 6 teams of sample to learn his game/ numbers are empty calories and he doesn't contribute much to winning. You'd think one of those teams would want to keep him.

also he's very unpleasant to look at so i rather not have to watch him.

He's had a positive NRTG on every team he's played for since he left ATL outside of that short stint with the Rockets. Sure, he's bounced around on a lot of teams but he's also played starter level minutes everywhere he went.

Depth chart:

IQ/Schroder/Lewis
RJ/Trent/Dick
Brown/McDaniels/Porter Jr
Barnes/Boucher/Thad
Poeltl/Porter/Koloko

I would give Brown a try until deadline and see how he would fit if he can play POA defense. If he is good, decline his team option and get him on a longer deal for less money per year

Not sure what will be worse now.. our offense or defense.

All I know is that both will be terrible.
