What to do with Bruce Brown

Post#1 » by XTC » Thu Jan 18, 2024 2:03 am

It seems to me he was acquired to be flipped again, he doesn't really fit the timeline we have.

What are we expecting his trade value to be?

We still need bodies There is no use tanking this year imo. He is supposed to be a good team guy, well rounded player.I think we should take a look at him.

He definitely can fit the timeline. He’s only 27.

He doesn’t fit play style wise
What an absolute failure and disaster this franchise is, ran by one of the most incompetent front offices in the league.

That he should be moved for another young asset.

Wait…what? We have a play style?

The current iteration of this team has yet to find an identity. Their strengths
seem to lean to the offensive end, but that’s not to say a great defender with a great attitude who’s multipositional and only 27 doesn’t have a place on this team going forward.

I think they’ll take the two weeks until the brreak to evaluate the fit. :)

He’s a non-shooter on a team that has Jakob, Barrett, and still Scottie to an extent. Brown is an awkward fit just like Siakam was

Flip him for draft picks, we don't need him, he's a low volume three shooter.

I think he'll be a pretty good fit besides IQ and co as the defensive stopper on the perimeter. But... if an offer comes in, I think the raps weigh it

His 3pt shooting is not the most ideal but every other aspect of his game fits with Scottie. He plays really well off the ball and is a very solid defender. I'd want to see how the lineup looks with him

Flip him for a young piece or first round pick.
