A game thread for a non Raptors game? There’s a Former Raptors thread for stuff exactly like this lol

That said, I hope the Pacers struggle a bit as they develop chemistry

I’ll definitely be watching. Still hoping the Blazers pull off a miracle upset though

Why? You realize we're not keeping our pick this year right? Despite what propaganda tWo is feeding you there's no way we overtake the Grizzlies that's trotting out a gleague lineup out there.

Not for our pick. We now own the Pacers pick. So ideally they don’t climb the standings and the pick remains mid first round

As for our own pick, I’d rather and expect us to convey it this year. Would rather push for play in

I guess, but Pacers are really good. They have one of the best offense in the league with a bunch of elite shooters. Haliburton is a genuine superstar. You add Pascal in there and he's going to feast. I can honestly see the Pacers making it to the conference finals and could potentially upset the Celtics. I think it's futile to root for them to struggle, much more fun to root for Pascal to succeed.

I’ll root for them in the playoffs since wins then won’t impact the pick and I wanna see Pascal do well

In the regular season I’ll be hoping they don’t climb up too far in the standings. I care more about the value of our pick than Pascal’s new team doing well in the regular season

Meh, we might not even have those picks this year. Masai said in his press conference he's looking to trade those picks. For what I don't know. Also from what I'm hearing on the draft there's no surefire stars that's sticking out, picks 15 could just be as valuable as pick 25. These kind of drafts are a crapshoot anyways. Siakam and OG were picked in the 20s, not going to lose sleep over it if Indy makes a run (which is very likely)

I don't know if I'll be able to watch Pacers games with Siakam in another jersey. Going to try to force myself lol

Excited for this one. Glad Hali is back as well. I do think Pascal is a tremendous fit there. Hali and Pascal will be a great duo. They compliment each other nicely.

I'm interested in knowing if Pascal Siakam will start playing some defense

Maybe I am old school, but I cheer for the Raptors jersey and those who wear it. The minute they are out of our jersey and wearing another teams jersey, they are the enemy. I do not wish them luck at my teams expense. I want the Raptors to beat OG and the Knicks, Fred and his Rockets, and Pascal and his Pacers. Only after they retire will I welcome them back.

I only feel like that when it comes to division rivals, a team that we have some sort of playoff rivalry with (Milwaukee), or a team that has wronged us in some way (Clippers). The Pacers don't fit into any of those categories so I'm cool with them.

Return to Toronto Raptors
