Good question, players complain too much and affecting their play. Darko is doing his part fighting for his players, but need to keep accountability with players.
Everything starts with the leader in Barnes. I get he takes a lot of contact that sometimes doesn't get called. His reaction on the court is not helping his cause. He needs to learn how to work the refs after a play and talk to them instead of barking at them and dismissing them.

It's a "development year" who cares if they are trying we're trying to keep our pick lol Why is this guy asking questions like that? he should read in between the lines

Poor effort builds bad habits. The front office creates the conditions to tanks, but players gotta bring the hustle. You can be a losing team and still be competitive.

My biggest takeaway from this is that the media guys are starting to come around on Darko. There’s more focus on the maturity and inexperience of the players. Mind you, these media guys have been around the league forever so you gotta think their opinion holds some weight. I felt the same way last night—we just played soft. And it’s easy to blame the coach for that but the players deserve a lot of the blame, too. It’s possible to coach toughness but it doesn’t always work. That said, a big part of players learning how to win is being tough-minded with their execution, hustle, and heart. The execution piece does start with the coach.
Still a long way to go with this team, on all levels.

These guys eat food and snack on air?
This just makes me question Toronto media even more. Why do I wanna see Paul Jones picking through his salad for welted lettuce? Or the guys crunching on nachos.
So corny lol

Yes this is what Casey brought to Raptors. That was the culture shift with Casey. We played hard every night. We didn't win many but effort was there. This team so far doesn't look great.

This
Even during our tanking for Scottie I never hoped for the guys on the floor to play less than 100%. Tanking happens by decision of who gets floor time, it is not a decision for players to play hard or not.

Good setup and then nailed it with "corny".
Well done.
