If Bronny declares would you draft him with a first round pick if it meant LeBron would sign as a free agent this off-season?

I think Bronny has all the tools to be a great rotation guard anyways

Imagine what a headache Lebron will be for a team if the coach doesn’t give Bronny enough minutes.

No thanks. He wouldn’t even be drafted at the end of the 2nd round if his dad wasn’t Lebron

I would be tempted to, then not sign Lebron, and then trade Bronny to a team for a ransom

I would draft him with our last pick of the first, or first pick of the second.

Either Lebron joins us, or he's splitting focus with his team.

Either of those seem great to me.

Isnt Lebron like 41 years old? Why would you spend any assets to get Lebron at this stage, the team is still bad

He's got a player option doesn't he?

You bring him in as a fulltime player-(assistant) coach. He and Darko can help each other with coaching.

Gets to mentor Scottie, Gradey, Bronny and the rest.

Might be able to get mid-level vets, for below average salary.

He goes from Villian (LeBronto) in We the North,
To Hero (LeBronto) in we the North Part 2.

The story writes itself.

And if not, you draw a lot of attention for the US media.

I dont want attention from the US media, I want a good young core.

No, BUT I would spend the #31 pick. So you have control over Bronny for 2 years and Lebron probably has at most that many years left.

Exactly. We draft Bronny and wait for the Lakers to pay the ransom. LeBron will force them to overpay.

Lebron has a $51 million player option next season. Is he really going to sign for the MLE and give up $40 million to play with his son?

We draft him and have him in the 905 until Lebron signs with Toronto for his final season in 2025. Bronny shouldn't declare for the draft he should go back for his sophomore year and at least become mediocre.

Maybe with a late FRP....like 28-30.

It's likely he won't even get much playing time, and that could very well lead to unnecessary drama.

Sure why not 99% of late picks don't pan out. Draft him with the Pistons pick and make Lebron play for the minimum if he wants to play with his kid.

LeBronto playing just 1 game for a Canadian team would automatically make him not only the greatest athlete in sports history but probably the greatest human being to ever step foot on planet earth

Do you think NBA would just let us throw Lebronto on the back of his jersey. They allowed nicknames that one time didn’t they?

Does he fit into our long term goal?
I think there are more to think about than just being greedy.

Just imagine the inflated, perceived value, of our tradable prospects would be.

I don’t believe this whole lebron will play for any team that drafts Bronny. I need to see it to believe it.
