Look at all the trades and select your grade.
OG for IQ, RJ, #31
Siakam for Brown, Nwora, Agbaji, KO, IND 2024, IND 2026
Porter, Lewis, Schroder and Young for a dump

I’m going with a solid meh (C)
I’d have been happy with the Agbaji/KO for 28 on draft night
Happy to lose Schroder
Annoyed with Brown

I wish we’d traded Brown too. Hoping for *something amazing* this offseason.
Wondering about Gary still.
Unsure about Nwora, but am open to being pleasantly surprised.
I go B- in terms of value. B in terms of staying on the path of the tank/building around Scottie.

B. Positive value extracted out of the OKC 1st IMO. Other deal is neutral.

Front court is set with Yak and KO
Backcourt is set with IQ and RJ
3pts shooting is set with Gary, Gradey, Ochai,Porter, Jordan (+KO)
Then Bruce and Chris Boucher..and Justise Winslow
I really like the presence of Temple: Hopefully his styles rubs off on Scottie and Gary at some point

F.
They got better and traded away 1st to chase the play in while giving up our top 6 pick.
We should have boat loads of picks that could have been traded for better players in the off-season.
Now our team next season is gonna be very similar as what we see today when they re-sign KO and probably one of Trent Jr/Brown lol

I feel like it’s again a bunch of moves with no clear direction, watching raptors moves is sort of like becoming just a fun cap game Bobby plays behind the scenes and he doesn’t care what players value are.
To not move Brown when his value is highest and to not move an expiring valuable piece in Trent is beyond puzzling. Both together or separate should have gotten us something of value. I expect to watch Trent walk for nothing, like many other raptors have over the last several years
We didn’t get worse or better and got little in return.

Completely inconsequential.
We traded a late FRP for a young role player and a washed up C. We traded some scrubs for cap space. The needle has not moved in either direction.

B-
But that of course has no reflection on how one move was a cleanup move and how subpar the FO has been in general.
Getting Schroder and his momentum killing gameplay out of here was big and injecting Olynyk into the lineup and locker room makes sense. Even if we're only talking about 31 games the rest of the way, these moves should improve the makeup of the team and have them playing a better brand of basketball which is important to set as a foundation for growth.

I don't think we got better. We don't have a backup PG again and KO is just a net neutral role player.

I give it a C+ because I would have liked for Brown to go. I get that keeping him for later is an option. It seems like there's a disconnect between the front office and the coach. We don't want Dennis hijacking the offense but he was given the green light by Darko. He should have come in as a bench player but used his relationship with Darko to his advantage. The comments of telling Tatum good luck in the playoffs was really weird too.
Overall Agbaji is a good player to grab. He's going to be a good role player in the NBA and he needs to continue improving his three point shooting above the break. The defense should be there too and he's a high character Kansas prospect despite being 24.
Kelly Olynyk is a stretch big. We badly need one and there are a limited amount in the NBA. The draft should be centered on getting the BPA but I would use our 2nd on someone like Tyler Smith or Ware, if he drops.
Poeltl - Olynyk
Barnes - Porter
Barrett - Agbaji
Trent - Dick
IQ - Brown
I'm pretty content going forward with these guys and finishing the season with the best tank possible.
