No backup PG or PF
Currently we have no backup PG or PF unless you play guys out of position. How do they fix this?

Re: No backup PG or PF
Kelly,Boucher, Jalen Mcdaniels can run backup PF and maybe they have Brown run point as a stop gap.

Re: No backup PG or PF
Obvious answer is that Barnes play 48 minutes because he can cover both spots easily.

Free Javon Freeman-Liberty!!!
Bruce Brown covers the backup PG but Scottie and others bring the ball up. Nwora rebounds pretty well.
PG IQ - Brown - JFL
SG Trent - Brown - Temple
SF Barrett - Dick - McDaniels
PF Barnes - Boucher - Nwora
C Poeltl/Olynyk - Jontay

Re: No backup PG or PF
Now that we have more shooting and he hasn’t been traded, I expect Boucher to re-enter the rotation. We may also sign Mo G from the 905. As for point guard, BB is likely the man when Scottie isn’t on the floor.
When will we just change the name of 25 of the 30 teams to the Washington Generals?
Please advise….

When Scottie isn't on the floor, IQ and Barrett can run the offense. I guess Trent can bring the ball up too.
From the 905 JFL would get the call up fist. MoG is still really raw and needs the whole season down there; maybe when the 95 season ends he gets called up.

Bruce Brown as backup PG. Boucher, Olynyk, and Porter at PF.

Waiving Dinwiddie means they are tanking and want to develop IG, JFL, keep Bruce Brown involved as a swiss army knife.
Schroder's $13 million freed up when he'd be a backup next season, didn't make sense anymore. Schroder was also taking too many shots from Dick.

Re: No backup PG or PF
With Bruce, Nwora, Dick all on the wings and IQ and Trent starting, Scottie should be guarding 4's anyways. Like others mentioned, we have no shortage of guys who capable of picking up the slack with Boucher, Porter and Olynyk.

Re: No backup PG or PF
Bruce Brown was Denver's backup PG last year during their playoff run. He can be our primary backup PG now. Kelly Olynyk is a good backup PF, but since we'll be using him mainly as a backup C, we do have a bit of a hole there. Boucher is the backup PF right now on paper, but if we aren't playing him, then our bench unit will be kind of small. Brown - Agbaji - Dick - Nwora - Olynyk is the possible group we're going to use, although I assume we'll also be mixing a starter or two in with them at all times.
What I would do, in terms of the rotation, is take Quickley out early for Brown. Brown can guard the PG on the other team, while Barnes and Barrett handle the ball a bit more. Then, you can bring Quickley back in to play with the bench. To start the 2nd quarter, for instance, we could send out Quickley - Agbaji - Dick - Nwora/Boucher - Olynyk. This group would have Quickley and Olynyk run a lot of actions at the top of the key, while the shooters space the floor.

thats good. a large portion of fanbase think he isn't doing enough already. he should obviously be averaging 26/10/8 to reach their standards. Oh yeah you gotta spread that stats evenly across each quarter too, otherwise he's slacking off and taking off plays.

What's the point... Masai will just create another OBVIOUS hole once he patches these up in 3 years.
Even if we suck, can we just have a team without no glaring holes. At least this way, we can point to the issue being a lack of talent and not stupid roster construction...

Re: No backup PG or PF
Jontay can play back-up PF minutes now since he was never really a true C. Plus, there's always Boucher, lol.
