Our 2 youngest players were unquestionably our best players. This is what we wanted, the loss is irrelevant.
Seeing some really good things out of Gradey.
RJ and Poeltl with bad nights but they were beasts last night, it happens.
Sounds crazy to say, but I like what I'm seeing. The upward trajectory won't be linear, and we need to be patient.

Gradey up to 33.7% from deep now. Considering how cold he was to start that’s pretty damn good. Can likely get it up to 36% by end of the season

Start Kelly at PF and bench Trent, he stinks.

That reverse layup was sick.

we don't do the little things to win games. poor boxing out. give up too many o-boards. and bad help and rotations on defense.

I feel like if we don't hit a top lottery pick in '24 or '25 we need to open up cap space or trade a bunch of picks for a Mitchell-tier star to pair with Barnes
IQ and RJ are nice complimentary pieces but I'm not sure they are star material

Dick looks like an NBA player. Nice to see him put together a streak of good play.

Damn, Barnes was the only positive +/- on the team.

This team needs a star wing, not just a 3&D
IQ/Backup PG
RJ/Dick
Star wing/Agbaji
Barnes/Porter
Poeltl/Olynyk
Get rid of Trent and Brown

I don’t view RJ and IQ as part of the core anymore. I was really hyped on IQ when we first got him, his first game was exciting. But he simply has not played like how he did in New York. Just hasn’t happened. I’m hoping it does but we’ll see, he could easily turn it around and all of a sudden the dynamics changes. RJ, he’s whatever. I’m happy he has been playing great and I said a couple days ago he could be impactful potentially as he gets older. We SHOULD keep both guys because they’re young and their contracts are not going to hinder a young developing team. But if we can get draft capitol or something greater in the future they should be part of those deals.

3 triple doubles? by Scottie this season. I believe team record for 1 season is 4 by Lowry.

a bunch of people called the cavs first round exits and fools gold (when they are up by 20) Would pairing Mitchell with barnes change their tunes?

You can see how they are slowly expanding what they are asking him to do out there. Was only parked in the corners for a while. Then started get catch and shoots from the wing. Now they are running off screens for threes. I’m excited to a bulked up Dick in year 2.
