it's still tough to make up 3.5 games to get the 10th seed. 7 of our next 10 are against teams in the playoffs/in.

I'd imagine the Hawks aren't going to rush Trae back to secure a good draft position. Took a look at their attendance just to get a feel of their fanbase, they've barely dropped YOY. They'd need to seriously commit if they're thinking of getting that 6th draft spot. Absolute worst case, the team rallies without Trae Young, bring him back for a late season push if you're within the window for the play in.

Brooklyn just fired their coach so they might be able to string together a couple of wins. They have no incentive to tank for obvious reasons.

Think we're going to stumble into a play in. Which isn't the worst situation in the world if we have to give this pick up to the Spurs. Make no mistake about it, we're getting eliminated by a real team in that situation and likely be without a draft pick. "Playoff experience" is highly overrated when you're not serious about contending.

Regardless of how this season shakes out we need a more certain direction for the 2025 season/draft.

The pathway to getting the play in spot is there. Anything can happen in single game elimination games.

I think the Hawks will play better and it will lead to Trae being traded this summer.

Everyone tanking except us. Honestly it won’t take much for us to finish 10th. There will be more easy wins in the coming months due to injury and teams resting.

Did this happen against us? Guess that's a reason why he was so bad scoring wise. Usually he torches us.

Ok but if they have Murray they'll be better defensively on the perimeter with Young out. This injury might make them better instead of hurting them.

Nah he's untouchable in terms of playing time for the Hawks too lol

Watch the hawks go on a run without Trae. They should be better defensively.
