Brunson, Klay, Hart, Hartenstein, Robinson, Bogey, McBride vs Dick and the G League Raptors. Feels like a W for some reason

Does OG get a tribute video? Fred got one even though he wasn't playing.

Westbrook is back with same injury (I think). Why not Scottie?

Because we're not trying to win games :)

I don't understand that logic, we're stuck at pretty much 6 or 7 and the 7th pick has moved up most of the time in the last few years, the more reps BBQ get together the better. I don't want to rush him, but if he's 100% I don't see why he shouldn't play.

Not all the same injuries are the same.

Different severity, different rates of healing.

Plus they don’t want to win games because they may or may not be tanking lol

I am not some hardcore tanker but simply by the math, 6 is way way better than 7th for the likelihood we keep the pick. If you want to argue that it is somehow more likely the 7th pick moves up than 6th because that pick has outperformed its odds in the past than I don’t really know what to tell you.

That's fair, I guess it's just a worse product to watch night in and night out, but if it's for a brighter future then I guess we'll look back at this season and laugh. At least RJ and Quick are back getting their conditioning back so that should be something to look forward to at the end of this season from hell.

Must lose game. Partly because LeBron decided to come back against Memphis. He'll squash them. We need to keep pace with the losses.

I’m not enjoying this either, and if they are really looking stuck in 6th with wiggle room, then by all means bring them back and win a few if they can. In the end all the losing will add up to a less than 50% chance at keeping the pick and the draft is supposed to be flat talent-wise. Just pointing out the odds are the odds. But I could stand to see a few wins and some IQ and RJ right now for sure.

The inferior product at the end of the season of a team that's in the lottery is normal and yes, Raptors fans haven't experienced this much over the last 10 years. The 2021 Tampa season was arguably a worst product but no one cared because the season ended in the middle of May instead of April. In 2012, the Raptors won too many games down the stretch with 10-day signings of vets like Alan Anderson and Ben Uzoh and thus, missed out by 1 pick in drafting Lillard who they were targeting based on draft workouts.
