Next 8 games are important for the 6th worse spot (not that it change that much our odds to keep the pick)

Lakers
Minnesota
Milwauwee
Washington
Pacers
Nets
Miami
Miami

Assuming Barrett/Quick will get back soon, how many wins we get to close the season?

The high end numbers is 4 (Was, Nets, Pacers, one of Miami)

The middle is two (Was, Nets)

The worst (or best case scenario haha) is zero

We will possibly see wins once the grizz win, perhaps against the Pistons.

The sad thing is I believe more in the Pistons.

The regular season can't end soon enough.

they can't win. the only thing worth playing for at this point is a draft pick and the other 6 teams are also historically bad.

We’ll be craving these games in August. That’s the only reason I’m still watching.

There's the Olympics in August so not to worry about that.

"Tanking" just to lose the pick because Masai and Bobby wanted their top 10 center

Getting a top ten centre is a great outcome as we are probably going to end up giving away a 16-17 pick next year. And then we end up getting a top six pick this year....man TWO is sure hard to please. Lots of fine young vet assets and Scottie Barnes. Plus a high pick, and two more picks this year? Masai and co. Did a great job

They key is to compare it with what Memphis has left. They play Pistons twice and Spurs once. They also play Denver last game of the season and who knows yet if they will be playing for 1st or 2nd seeding (and who they rather play in first round, Lakers/Warriors or Suns/Kings?) - but likely Denver rests its starters in the last game of the season.

For us, all teams we're playing except for Wiz/Nets have something to play for. The Bucks maybe not, but that game might be too early for them to start resting their starters. I don't see us winning both Miami games if Miami still has a chance to get out of the play-in at the last game of the season.

I feel the same way.

But Pistons are one game under Wizards, about to lose their #1 tWo position. I hope their tank activates.

We'll see

We've always been capable of this, but got caught up in some tomfoolery. Stay the course and give McDaniels the max.

Shouldn't RJ and IQ be playing by now? Not to minimize their grief but they're practicing, they're at the games, they're healthy physically. Shouldn't professional athletes play?

Let’s go boys, keep the losses coming. Unfortunately with RJ coming back (team should have fought harder for him to sit out but I get it, he probably wants to comeback for his mental health) and some of these teams likely taking their foot off the gas I could see a win or two. Hope im wrong. Need Memphis to beat Detroit for some additional cushion.
