Hah, my first game thread in 18 years on the board. Is this how to rack up all those And1's?
Anyway, the small bit of value-add I will contribute is this:
?s=20

"Rest?" A 25-year-old who has been coming off the bench most of the season? Playing in a contract year against a big media market team? Not on a B2B? Who played 32 minutes in an early game two days before?
I detect shenanigans.

Just realized GTJ is averaging 20ppg this month.
No reason why he cant be a 18ppg gunner off the bench.

Yeah if you want to win 1 game per month give him 20ppg

We all know the outcome before the game starts.

If RJ and IQ come back, the Raps need to win this for Walt. Too many ugly losses. Need a win to remind the suffering fans the potential of this team

The win will come against the Wizards.
With Kelly the only big, it is hard to field a winning team against the Lakers. No rebounding, no anchor on D. AD will feast. Lebron too.

Lol I mentioned to my friend that with Quickley and Barrett back we probably wouldn’t see GTJ this game.

Guess raps management was getting too many complaints from Season ticketholders about getting blown out by 30 each game, lol
With tank leader Darko, perhaps a competitive loss today?

Could have sworn we won 48 games with him starting and averaging 18ppg, but what do I know?
This narrative surrounding GTJ being some huge net negative player is frankly ridiculous. The guy is easily an above average player if you are able to bring him off your bench, which is exactly what I suggested.

It's also important how he's getting his points. If he was averaging 20PPG inefficiently, that wouldn't be a good thing. In March, he had splits of 44/36/88, which is solid, especially considering he's basically been the #1 option with everyone out.

This is a draft where I don't even want the #1 pick. Give me pick 3 or 4 because whomever is selected #1 is going to have the pressure of being the #1 pick when he probably would've went 7th in another draft.

Who will be our next Bargnani?

I also feel the same way. However, if you like a guy who is in the top 5 it would allow for the possibility to trade back and get an additional asset for the 1st pick. I am also not a fan of the projected 1st pick in this draft, Sarr.

My wet dream is picking a few spots ahead of San Antonio and swapping picks with the 2025 pick either going back to Toronto or restrictions changed to lotto protected.
It’s a very wet dream.
