I know we are all basically hoping we land the pick this year, including the FO. There's a gem to be found this year.

Everything he said was right.

Some people will still find a way to be critical.

Hope the FO is able to string together a bunch of nice trades.

This seems like the perfect year for the NBA to gift us the #1 pick. No clear top player to put in a desired market, and they can appease us Canadian fans for a bit who believe the NBA hates us.

Dennis and McDaniels were supposed to be the saviours that made Fred bolting for nothing okay. Hope they learned their lesson. Looks like they did moving OG and Siakam before even the trade deadline

Absolutely nobody viewed 2023's MLE and minimum signings as "saviours".

The team will use its exceptions nearly every year, preferably on guys still in their early/mid 20s.

Only on RGM would a $4M end of rotation player generate this much angst lmao

Still glad we didn’t pay Fred that amount of money, so no regrets.

Absolutely no one believed Dennis and McDaniels were the saviors. The Rockets were our saviors for giving out that ridiculous contract and taking FVV off our hands. Masai would've paid FVV 35M+ and we would've had a repeat of last season. At least this season it forced Masai's hand to choose a direction.

We need to trade Siakam for AJ Griffen before it's too late! - PhilBlackson

I don’t know bro. There was a lot of hype for Dennis coming off team Germany and a many believed McD was a solid signing. I basically said Dennis should be okay but McD was likely a journeyman we had no idea if he could even play.

Barnes, Jakob, RJB, Quickley
Kelly, Dick
We already have 6 players that are considered to be our core
They just need to find at least 3 very serviceable players, and much of the team's success will depend on the organic growth

Need to draft a strong third string C. Or maybe just sign Biyombo again. The drop off after Kelly is too big. Even if Jontay panned out I think he’s too soft to play Center. But it’s tough to gauge his performance since it appears he might have been even tanking his own play at times.

Kelly is not a core piece. Core piece is one that will be contributing on the court when we are going into the playoffs

So many misses on FA signings. Can't wait to see what they do with that cap flexibility

Need to add some serious talent to the bench.

Our bench has been dreadful for years. This draft is an opportunity to fix all those issues.

I believe in Masai!

Starting lineup:
Quickley
Barrett
Ochai (mainly for defensive purposes and cutting ability)
Barnes
Poeltl

Bench:
Dick
Olynyk
JFL

Yup - bench needs serious upgrades. One injury in the starting lineup and the whole season will go to sh*t again.
We have very limited depth. Need some playmakers and shooters.

I just groaned at the "tradeable contracts" part. Trade opportunities might not always be available. Bobby needs to be aggressive at the draft and build that way.

It's not gonna be 1-2 big moves...

We no ****, we don't have the assets to pull off any big moves

Also love the ever useful tradable contracts we do nothing with. The only thing I have any trust in this FO to do is draft, which makes it all the more baffling why we continue to trade picks.
