Jordi as HC for Raptors and Darko assistant coach to Jordi would have been too good to be true

I’m happy as a Kings fan.

Not because I think there’s anything wrong with Jordi. I am simply of the belief that Doug Christie knows more about defense and will improve the Kings defense if he is made the coordinator, which he damn well better be.

I guess we'll get to see if we made a mistake hiring Darko instead of him.

Perhaps. Darko seems to me agreed to be a yes man for the FO. Was Jordi willing to make the same willingness? Hard to know. If the Nets excel than I suppose you are correct.

He's walking into probably a bottom 5 situation as far as desirable spots go in the league. He has his work cut out for him with that roster and holding just 1 draft pick (2025 Suns pick) for the next 3 years. They don't even have their own draft pick until 2028 so tanking is out of the question.

All they really can do is try exactly the same ting again after next season, just use cap space for 2 stars. Going to be a rough first year. Lets hope they dont make him a patsy for next season.

They had an opportunity to do a reset and get back their picks from houston plus jalen green. That ship sailed

I think that will be their plan.

Until he signs an extension, I'm going to assume Mitchell wants out of Cleveland.

I know how hard it is to become a head coach. But I think you have to choose your team wisely. It's not really an ideal situation.

I guess it's easy to say "he should of waited for another opportunity," when it's not you. But if it goes badly, he's probably back to being an assistant for a few years at minimum before he gets talked about again for a head coach position (if he's lucky).

Idk. I guess I'm saying that I sure as **** wouldn't bet my career on this situation.

I imagine he’ll coach us at the Olympics and then dip.

This isn’t an ideal role for Jordi since the Nets are a dumpster fire of an organization.

The nets were considered a fine organization before Kyrie lit it on fire
