Realistically if we can come out of this draft with Edey / Mogbo, I'd by happy. Like both guys a lot. Would give us a lot more size and versatility which we've lost with the recent trades and Koloko's health.

If somehow a guy like Carter falls to 19, that would be ideal. If we can get a guy like Tyson or Carrington at 31, that would be a great as well.

In terms of who the Raps draft, it's likely a couple of the guys they've worked out -- Edey, Ware, Smith, Tyson, Jones, Mogbo or guys with similar profiles to those guys.

I really wouldn't be angry with any pick because I trust Masai/Bobby/Tolzman with the draft.

I would not be surprised if CDUB becomes the best player from this class. And he fills our biggest hole.

Don't Want: Ware / Klintman

Want: Guys that can fill out the Roster and are able to be played, like gradey in the 2nd half of the season.
Expect: Not any great expectations as the draft is not good. Everything better than 2 Busts is already a win.
Dream: 2 Guys that turn into Stars.
Dont want: Having the delusion in the Franchise, that in this draft they could/will draft a starplayer.

Expect:Ware/Collier/Edey/ Cody williams
Dream:Knecht/Kyshawn George
Nightmare: Matas Buzelis (Wouldnt be terrible but already have Gradey who fits this mold)/ Topic/Dillingham

Want: Holmes and Flip. acquire another 2nd round and select a guard. Shead or perhaps Nunez

Expect: Missi and KJ Simpson

Dream: Holland and Kolek

Nightmare: Kyshawn George (I can't think of a nightmare scenario so went with George.

Nightmare: Edey

I think right now if we stay at 19 which is most likely...At that spot if Edey is there he will prolly be the pick...If hes off the board i see us going either Missi/Ware/Filipowski...I just think we are going to draft a big at 19...

Now to answer the question...

Want: #19 Missi/ #31 Bona (Just so we can make the Dick Bona jokes)
Expect: Ware or George
Dream: Trade #31 + Brown or Yak to move up in the draft and get Clingan
Nightmare: Some random player we reach for that ends up being a bust...

I got Edey in all 4 categories.

I will play the game then add:

Want dream and what I think can happen: Bub Carrington 19 dream would be Devin Carter if both off board think we take Ware or Missi. 31 Bobi Klintman dream Tyler smith. Nightmare for both picks is small for position guard with bad def but, good offense.

See below Bruce B adds to draft: 19 Bub C 24 Ware, Missi, Tyler S (stretch 4/5) 31 Bobi K or other wing.
This way you get depth at PG, C/PF and wing 3 biggest areas of need. I understand 3 rookies is a lot to develop but maybe if Thad doesn’t play you could add him to coaching for part time and he could help wings and big.

The 800 gorilla is what to do with Bruce and Maybe Jak? For me the deal would have to be very good to trade Jak. I think we will try to win next year and get to play-in and I think he will be cool with that.

For Bruce there are only 2 trades that I like long tern involving mostly players.
BB + Chris B = Andrew W + Moses M + ATL 2 seconds (2026+28) as we take on better players but more salary over time.
BB + Jalen McD = Rui H + Gabe V + better 2025 second round pick (either LAL or LAC)


If we don’t do one or something close to it above would like to take on short bad contract with draft assets.
Bruce B = Bojan Bog + 2024 24th from Dal + 2025 second from Nets and hope they tank so it is in 30s next year.

I don't know much about this draft, admittedly.

Who's the highest ceiling player we can realistically acquire at #19?
