We have needs everywhere from bigs, forwards, to guards.
If you select Other please comment the name.

I picked George, he's probably closest to Gradey who we drafted last year. Ino Furphy is probably more closer to Grady, being white tall shooters from Kansas.
George is a big guard who's a shooter, similar to Gradey, so George was my pick. We picked Banton who is kinda similar to George as well, jumbosized guards
Carrington is who I want, gerogre is who I think they'll draft.

Safest guess is always that Masai will pick someone that is "his type." So based on the poll options I would guess either Kel'el Ware depending on Masai's character evaluation of him when the team worked him out, or Other (Kyle Filipowski, DaRon Holmes, or maybe a big reach for Jonathan Mogbo if there's a chance they outright deal pick 31 instead of trade down/keep it).
Masai-type FRP-level Freshmen/Sophomores this year:
https://barttorvik.com/playerstat.php?link=y&sIndex=53&minusage=18&mineFG=53&minTS=54&minOR=2&minDR=11&minATO=0.7&minftr=22&mingbpm=6.4&minogbpm=3.9&mindgbpm=2.2&minmpg=400&yvalue=FrSo&year=2024&minmin=28&start=20231101&end=20240501Masai-type FRP-level Juniors this year:
https://barttorvik.com/playerstat.php?link=y&sIndex=53&minusage=18&mineFG=53&minTS=54&minOR=2&minDR=11&minATO=0.7&minftr=30&mingbpm=9.3&minogbpm=4.7&mindgbpm=3&yvalue=Jr&year=2024&minmin=63&start=20231101&end=20240501Masai-type FRP-level Seniors ever (they are rare):
https://barttorvik.com/playerstat.php?link=y&sIndex=53&minusage=18&mineFG=53&minTS=54&minOR=2&minDR=11&minATO=0.7&minftr=30&mingbpm=10&minogbpm=4.9&mindgbpm=4.8&yvalue=Sr&year=all&minmin=80&start=-11101&end=all0501Every Masai FRP he has ever made out of the NCAA with the Raptors is on one of these lists (Masai has only selected out of the NCAA with his FRPs post-Bruno), depending on their draft year class. The distinction between "FRP-level" and below that level, is that Masai has historically taken riskier fliers in the 2nd round (other than Koloko who was a very early 2nd), that don't fit his "FRP-level" prospect profile.

Whoever gets the fewest votes in the poll is probably the most likely candidate to get drafted. Masai always surprises.

Regardless of who they draft, let's see some aggressiveness and some creativity at the draft instead of just waiting your turn to make selections from a list.

Finally digging into some the of the analysis and video on all these guys.
My faves from the above list in order who I think will be gone by 19: Carrington, McCain, Da Silva, Edey
Who I think they'll end up with in order of preference: Missi, Ware, George
I think ideally they'd target some on-ball juice in the front-court, but I don't think a good enough guy like that is available at that pick. Consequently, I think they target somebody who they think can project into a useful role for ~20mpg with some upside, hence the bigs in that range.

Trading up, trading down, player trades, etc. What else would it mean. They haven't been very active on draft day in recent years in comparison to other teams.

I think the poll should reflect players the Raptors have actually worked out, or players that might slide.
As far as I can tell we only worked out the top 2 options on this poll, and everyone else worked out for teams that are drafting after our pick. Either the Raptors kept these workouts top secret or have no interest.

How does this actually add value other than to satisfy your need to see them make moves.
Trading up, trading down etc may not actually be the best decision to make.

I don't know anything about this draft class, so I'll be here after the pick(s) to see the live reaction here.

Buying a 2nd pick at the right time can add a lot of value for low risk. Yet they've never done it. Of course, transactions may not work out but when you're not active, it could indicate they're not pursuing all alternatives. Who knows. I know that other sports leagues would jump at the chance to buy a draft pick.

it could indicate. It could also indicate they don't like the price. Assuming it means they're not pursuing alternatives is strange.
Again, it seems to be driven by you wanted some satisfaction of seeing moves.
Do we have any data that show teams that made draft day deals have a higher return than those that stuck to their picks?

I posted an article recently analyzing these types of moves over a recent period. Favors trading up. Its a small sample though. Again, they've been very inactive in comparison to other teams. That actually indicates the opposite in pricing.
