Who would you have drafted 19/31/45/57 based on who was available on board?

My draft would have been:

19. Daron Holmes
31. KJ Simpson
45. Melvin Anjica
57. Ulrich Chomche

At 19 and 31 I felt there were contributors at positions of need and 45 57 high upside swings that could be stashed for development.

keeping it the same. No aura in this draft.

What Masai did

Walters was the common sense choice. Mogbo will be compared to Smith, Filipowski, Furphy, and Kolek in the years to come. I can see the ration behind Mogbo and I would have done the same. Shead was a no brainer who should have gone earlier, and Chomche was my target at 31.

Would have been

19: Collier,
31: Flip
45: McCullar and
57: Flowers

but I am totally behind our picks as well.

And 1000% behind McDaniel trade for Mitchell, Vezenkov , Shead and possibly even another 2nd rounder

I was really high on Djurisic in the 2nd round, might have been able to get him at the 45th pick if not for Atlanta. Maybe I fell in love with the highlights too much and he turns into a scrub.

Based on your rules.

However, I would have tried to trade 31 for 34 and 40. I think Mogbo would have still been available at 34, possibly even at 40. I do like him as a pick. We probably didn't go with Smith as well because the Vezenkov deal was already agreed to. Plus it let Scottie be their when his bud was picked.

If we could have reached for one more pick, it would have been Cam Spencer. Amazing on O for a smaller guy, but not a great defender. We still feel light on shooting after this draft. At least we've loaded up on defenders.
