The Pistons got or 2nd round pick in 25 in this deal. We had the Pistons 2nd this yr, they have our 2nd next yr

lets say grimes = 3 seconds (considering he was the key piece for the knicks trade last year)
that means Detroit got nothing for taking tim hardaway contract $16mil

incontrast hornets got 3 seconds for taking reggie jackson (5 mil)

For what it's worth, THJ was a pretty valuable player up until the end of this past season. I'm not sure if he's got positive trade value, but he could be an asset (or just a guy Detroit uses for spacing/scoring).

for years THJ was basically Dallas' 2nd best scorer. He obviously became worth much less, but we continue to see the effects of the new salary cap.
