He's a puck head first and foremost, but does talk a lot of basketball. Bit of a Rogers mouthpiece when it comes to his Raptors coverage and is pretty smug in his takes. Feels like Rogers is setting him up to be their next big "personality" If I'm being honest. Also does a ton of Blue Jays stuff.

If only Lou Will had his delivery and didn't say "like like like" every 5 seconds...

JD's start on the Fan was a Raptors show with Donovan Bennett, so he does know his basketball.

His style seems to put a lot of people off - always talks over guests and interrupts.

You are allowed to watch and enjoy more then 1 sport. Just because someone loves Hockey does not mean they don't love the Raptors that narrative is getting so old.

He's a puck head. Being a puck head doesn't mean you can't enjoy basketball, though historically puck heads in this city have been massive basketball haters. He talks Jays and Leafs much more than he talks Raptors once he got his own show. That may be a pre-requisite for being successful at Rogers though, so who knows.

Any resentment I have of anyone is not going to come from a 1 time initial reaction. He's a douche b/c he has done douche like things in the past, he's a knowitall as i referred because he's had multiple on air instances of him lecturing/disagreeing/being steadfast in his opinion in comparison to someone with more insight/information then he would have.
This was a decent interview that I have no complaints about, it's him who I don't like. Even in this interview he was kinda smugg imo
