Yeah they were bad. No penalty called when there's obvious pen. So many fouls not called. We created so many chances and missed. I had a bad feeling this wasn't going to go our way but yeah we were the better team for most of the game.

I'm so glad I don't follow football/soccer outside significant matches because this sport is INFURIATING.

What an incredible match. Especially after that snorefest between France and Portugal. Canada's back-line is really vulnerable to pressure. They obviously can't be this sloppy against Argentina. But that was alot of fun.

That was one of the most entertaining soccer games I've ever seen. It's not saying much since I don't watch much but man that was crazy. We should have won this like 3-1.

Thank God our team is mostly black players because if you're a white dude in the Copa, any South American can freely stomp on a white guy with total impunity. I've been watching international football my entire life and the officiating in this game was borderline criminal. Missed yellow cards, hacking in the face, egregious tackles including a studs up challenge on a canadian player that didnt even amount to a yellow. The standards are a disgrace.

For the Venezuelan fans, this is payback for that phantom call against canada which cost the men's basketball team an Olympic seed back in 2015. They can all get on their Venezuelan bus and go back home.

Man getting to quarters was already huge. Canada Soccer had been in shambles in the last few years, running out of money, couldn't pay for players' flights or for friendly matches with a home world cup coming up. To pull this off, getting into the semis of Copa America, against teams with so much history and talent in soccer. This is historic. It is NOT easy to get into the semis. Enjoy this fellas. History.
