I wonder why the Kings would choose to get off Barnes instead of Huerter in this deal. Maybe they have a move lined up with Huerter since I think he has more value than Barnes.

Having watched the Hawks in the 2022 playoffs, I would not bet against Huerter. Certainly he has the potential to find his game again, whereas Barnes is close to cooked.

Spurs making great moves man....They have a future T-Wolves FRP and now a Kings future FRP....They are making moves to build a superteam around Wemby...

Kings got another player to add to take the pressure off Fox on the offensive end...If only they had an elite defensive rim protecting big man id love the move....I like the rookie they got in Carter though as well

Yeah it is just positionally, they got a lot of guards and Demar for Barnes is loss of size too. Unless Keegan Murray is a really bulking up, playing him at power forward seems like a bad idea especially with Sabonis as the C. Is Huerter the backup 3 now. Is he actually going to play? Maybe they saw the Pacers success going all offence last year and that is their plan, but they aren't in the east.

It's not like you're even allowed to play defense in this league anymore..... So it doesn't really matter.

The same was said about the Nuggets......
