Knicks over 51.5 seems too easy to me. They should be a machine in the regular season.

8 teams with 50 wins sounds a bit too many. Agreed on Nets, they might be the worst team.

If the team stays as is, I'd bet a lot of money on the under. Team has 0 nba depth and will be one injury away from being one of the worst teams in the nba again lol.

I think we are comfortably under 32.5. A lot will have to go right for us to get to 32.5, and the possibility of a Poeltl/Brown/Boucher trade makes the under ever more likely. In the "Predict our record thread" I said:

Not that we were great with Siakam/OG/Trent/Schroder, but we were probably better with them, than we are going to be to start this season with IQ/Barrett/Mitchell/Walter/Agbaji.

We won 25 games last year, I think that's probably about where we end up this year too. With an active tank we could get as low as 20 wins imo, ceiling of...35ish wins.

I have been saying that Raptors should win 5-15 more games than last year .

33 is like cutting it in half . Middle of my bracket !

Chicago not being listed means that Raptors could make plays in with only 33 wins.

I think it is a very well set line but I feel like we’ll end up either 5 wins higher or lower than the number at minimum in the end. If we are actually heading toward 32/33 wins, Masai will pull the rip cord. We are either winning 38 or more or less than 27 in my opinion.

Might be over, but it'd by a handful of games, nothing crazy. Maybe 35-36 at most. Have some real strong teams in our division except for the Nets and there's no guarantees we beat them for sure

With so much general parity, other than the clearly taking teams, I'm not surprised that 22 teams are predicted to be .500 or above.

The bets I'd take:
Bucks UNDER 51.5 (injury to Giannis or Lillard tanks their season - not convinced with Doc)
Cavaliers UNDER 47.5 (I just don't like this Cavs team. They gotta figure out the dual logjams at PF/C and PG/SG.)
Heat UNDER 44.5 (Butler's contract situation could become an issue, and we know how Jimmy likes to blow up lockerrooms - also not convinced with their depth.)
Lakers UNDER 44.5 (Lebron and AD were pretty healthy last year...I'm not sure they can do it twice in a row. It's why I drafted them both in my auction keeper league, to tie their handcuff them together. I got a great price too, 12 team $200 league, AD for $46 and LBJ for $23. Ended up in 2nd place, was first for most of the year til one guy traded all his good players to the 2nd place team lol).
Rockets OVER 41.5 (Despite my negative feelings towards FVV and Brooks, I think they're pretty deep and young guys should improve)
Hawks UNDER 34.5 (Very likely implosion incoming)
Pistons UNDER 24.5 (I just don't get what they're doing there)
I'd be tempted to take the OVER on the Thunder 54.5 as well, but that's such a high number that I don't see much value there.

Id say under but not by many....We have 2 many young players that darko will give mins too to develop them for us to be any good next year....But we are close to be slotted around the 25-30 win group...

If Masai really likes a player in the draft though which he will i see him trading Jak/Brown to make us worse then some of the already bad teams in the east...

Yep this is part of my line of though too. We might get crushed in all our divisional games this year, minus Brooklyn. And Cam Thomas can single handedly win a game against us if he gets hot.

My guess was 28-33 so, I'd hit that under. Even a single injury to the starters will crater this team. I'd rather not have a guy get injured, so lets just trade Jak and get that L column growing.
