Raptors sign Jamison Battle (exhibit 10)

I'm very happy with this signing. Well deserved.

You know what I found crazy...
Through 2021-2023 (3 seasons) - he was a 77% FT shooter (on 2.2 attempts per game)
Fast forward to his final season - he shot 93% from the FT line (on 2.7 attempts per game)
Now let's take a look at his 3pt%....
Through 2021-2023 (3 seasons) - he shot 34% from three (on 6.9 attempts per game)
Fast forward to his final season - he shot 43% from three (on 6 attempts per game)
This sort of improvement is indicative of an exceptional work ethic.
He's only 23 and I hope we retain him.

Nice. Congrats to him. Battle/Chomche/Carlsen/Carton with Shead/Mogbo stints will be fun for the 905.

So that is three exhibit 10s with Perry, Guerrier and Battle plus Carton, Carlsen, Chomeche on two ways added to 16 full contracts. That is 22 guys. What is the maximum?

Sadly his wingspan is nothing special, but honestly, with the way he was shooting the ball, IDGAF.

We can have 6 Exhibit 10s, 3 Two Ways, and in the offseason up to 20 players on regular contracts, that has to be cut to 15 by start of the season.

what I liked was that he didn't just shoot 3's though he was efficient at that. He showed the ability to pump fake from 3 and drive to the basket and create.

Wow. So they can bring 29 guys to camp, that’s crazy. We’ve never brought that many, I don’t think. I thought the total was way lower than that.

We got our Niang. Very happy with Battle, he looks like the only one on the team that's got a pure stroke and looks to make good decision on the floor.

He’s been awesome. Very pure shooting mechanics. Reminds me of Niang.
