I'm glad we kept Carton. There were times during summer league where him and Shead were on the court together, and while we undersized, they were putting plenty of pressure on the opposing guards.

Garrett Temple addressing the young guys like a coach. He's an impressive guy.

I hope if he becomes an actual coach, maybe next year, the league brings back jackets and ties for coaches. Garrett rocks a suit better than anyone

I yearn for the days of the suits and ties for coaches again.
I know the coaches vastly prefer the warm up track suits but they look like soccer players warming up. :lol;

Yeah I hate the look where they all match as well. They should at least copy the NFL where the head coach wears a different colour shirt or jacket than the assistants.
Of course I miss the era of Vince Lombardi and Tom Landry wearing jackets, ties and fedoras on the sidelines but that's long gone.

He can also still play. Whenever he enters a game, especially like we saw in the later stages of last season, he can actually make good and useful contributions, as opposed to a lot of end-of-the-bench guys who sub in and are completely useless. Temple can help with the defence, provide a little rebounding and can finish okay around the rim plus of course his tutelage for Scottie and the youngsters is invaluable.

They used to be closer to an hour.
There were some crazy behind the scenes footage like when the team found out Rudy Gay got traded. Quincy Acy crying at his locker because he got traded too.

I think the off season stuff has always been around 5 minutes.

Never. Even last year the draft one was 10. Before they used to be 25+

The bench mob days and a ton of personality. My wife who wasn't a basketball fan followed all the players and knew everything they posted on social media. This year's team kind of look like they're bringing back that personality. It's going to take some time but the injection of youth is great to see.

I am hoping this young group will hit the Rico Hines runs, much like Fred, Pascal & the rest of the young guys did back in the day. The offseason work they put in together was a big reason why they all became so successful & exceeded all expectations.
