This is a good idea.
It goes beyond just the Raptors.
I'm curious where the Canadian players (NBA and FIBA), and Team Canada would be now if Vince was never here.

They posted Hakeem a few days ago. Both posts reference jerseys. Maybe they're going back to white and purple jerseys?

In the heyday of the Brooklyn nets Jason Kidd era I hated Vince as much as anyone. His legacy is unmatched here though.

Put him in the Canadian basketball hall of fame then. He doesn’t need his Raptors jersey retired.

F it, at this point why not? The Raptors franchise is no longer ringless, they should be more open now to honour the players who had big impacts on the franchise and defined eras even if they themselves did not bring a ring.
Clippers fans are saying guys like Blake and CP should get their jerseys retired, Raptors fans are stuck in this purist mentality that nobody should be honoured.
It'd make total sense for a 30th anniversary season to honor the past players who defined the Raps. Lowry is still in the league so it wouldn't happen yet.
