I was at the semi finals last night for both games and they were unbelievable. Both games came within 3 points. I would highly recommend watching the highlights from both games.
Target Time leads to incredible finishes, ensuring a game winning basket every game.
The finals are in Montreal tomorrow at 6pm, and it's being streamed on TSN!

Would be great to contineu to see the league grow. Hopefully they can start pulling some bigger name guys to come play. As a Canadian league they really should focus on former Raptors, former Canadian NBAers, college studs who just are not NBA guys (the Fridettes)

I’d definitely like to see the league grow. One problem the league has right now is guys will leave mid-season and there’s no press release or anything. You just watch the warmups and realize one of the starters is gone.

Exactly this. Not only do you lose any attachment to the players on the roster but it can totally shake up the outcome. Teams will start off one way, add or lose a player and do a complete 180. Then another roster change can reverse it again. And then an almost entirely new roster shows up the next year.

Reality of these types of leagues. Waht they should do is offer multi year deals with NBA opt outs
CEBL best case is trying to be the basketball equivalent of the CFL. Make it an environment where guys who do not have NBA jobs can come up here and use this as a spot that they can hope catapults them back into the NBA.
Issue is right now teams can only dress 3 americans per game. So on a 10 man roster there is 6 Canadians, 3 americans, and 1 international. So really there is only 30 or so spots for Americans to come up and play here.. and lets be honest most of the top guys in the league are American and are the most exciting part to watch.
IMO - it would make more sense to bump it to 5 Canadians, 4 Americans, and 1 Intl. Minimum of 2 Canadians on the court at all times is a good rule and can stay.

You guys are thinking too deep, this is supposed to be a summer league, a league during other leagues offseason for the most part.
The league will grow overtime by building on the history, sponsorship, & investors. The support is already there & growing.
I do agree, players leaving without official notice should improve tho
Scarborough Shooting Stars are currently building the first CEBL specific stadium somewhere around STC - more investment like that will grow the league

Re: OT: CEBL Finals
CEBL is actually really good quality basketball. I actually find the CEBL game (game managament, rules and competitiveness) better than the NBA. (Of course the NBA has the best players)
I have been to a few games and I m always surprised how skilled the players are and how hard they play.
I am glad to see it continually expanding & hope it continues to gain traction.
Should be a good game.tonight

Exciting game, poor execution by Niagara.

Literally a tie game, dead next point. Has an arcadey vibe to it.
