I don't think the age difference in Flip's situation was the main source of alarm. It was that she was his babysitter at one point, or something like that.

For a lot of players, their overall maturity, including the maturity in their game become noticeable after they become dads. We saw that in DeMar. Not saying Scottie wasn't mature enough (his personality is great) but more like the understanding that all you're doing is for your children, and the extra motivation that instils in players. Congrats Scottie!

On a side note, personally not a fan of having kids out of wedlock as it tends to be less than ideal for everyone involved. But. Hopefully this time's the exception.

23 is pretty young to be a dad, and Scottie hasnt shown the greatest maturity. 32 - 23 is also a big age gap at that age......chances are Scottie and mom to be have caregiver dynamic already in their relationship i.e she is the caregiver. Hope he can navigate it all.

She groomed Flip as a teenager. The brain stops developing into your 20s. Scottie's young to become a dad by today's standards, but at least he's old enough to make the same kind of relationship mistakes as most (hopefully this isn't one!).
