Wonder if he wants to be an NBA GM one day. Does all the information/skeletons/connections help him in a front office role. Probably right?

Dude probably hasn't slept in who knows how long. Stepping down to be a college GM sounds pretty great to me.

Good for him. The new gig should be fun.

When was the last time Woj beat Shams? Back in the day Woj was epic but I dont recall him breaking many stories the last several years.

There were a few the last couple of years but I remember the Harden to the Clips trade being a Woj bomb. Think the KD one was also Woj.

Woj seems to get a lot of the big moves tbh.

Smart move. Why have all that money if you can't enjoy it during the part of your life where your body allows you to be more active. This should significantly reduce his work I would think.

From a fan perspective maybe we receive news about a few minutes later? Lol

Says that soon-to-be media free agent Shams is ESPN's top target to replace Woj (obviously), but if they can't land him for whatever reason, dark horses include Chris Haynes (leaving TNT), Brian Windhorst (who's believed to be happy to remain in his current ESPN role), Jake Fischer (Yahoo), Dave McMenamin (ESPN Lakers beat), and Michael Scotto (HoopsHype).

Also says that with NBC and Amazon entering they picture, they will be needing top insiders of their own as well. Will be interesting to see who ends up where.
