Sounds good. I listened a lot to Blake doing an hour or two of Jays talk this summer, guess I was driving during his show a fair bit. He's become a more polished broadcaster, far more than the amateurish Will and Alex. But by himself going on endlessly about stats, he's boring despite the fact he knows his stuff. But Bonner as a co-host should help lighten and balance off Blake's analytics talk.

This is great news. I always liked Bonner as he is naturally funny. I kind of remember him taking the TTC to games or him having some silly old beater car while as a Raptor.

Any time we can get an ex-NBA guy to broadcast for us, we should do it as long as they are semi-coherent (sorry Alvin).

Does Matt Bonner live in Toronto or is it going to be over Zoom or something?

Matt Bonner is interesting. He’ll be a good offset to Blake.

Good choice especially re the Vince Carter announcement. He had courtside seats for that circus.

I do about a pod a week with that guy. Any more and I can't get what I imagine to be his smug face out of my head for the rest of the week. He's good but also annoying. If that makes any sense. Also clear Rogers mouthpiece though they all are on the Fan.

He talks way too much, makes it about himself. He will have an expert guest on the the US or whatever, then asks long winded questions where he has to fit all his theories and takes into the question. Just ask the guy who knows, and let him talk.

1 hour is probably the right amount of time for the team this season. we're not going to be good so instead of having to talk about a bad team for 2 hours, 1 hour will suffice and keep things moving. you only go to 2 hours if you have fan call ins.

Wow, they got a terrible timeslot. Are they really going to blabber about the Leafs for 99% of the day when no one cares about the hockey regular season? This is coming from someone who watches a lot of Leafs a d Blue Jays too.

Good news is the Hello and Welcome show should be about 2 hours I think, so we're getting a bonus slot for basketball - even if it does seem half-assed by Sportsnet.

Fantastic news! Love Blake and Bonner should be a great cohost with experience behind the mic. I unsubcribed to Hello and Welcome, I just cannot support Will and Alex anymore. Too much of clowns for my tastes, I've only listened to 1 of their show so far and couldn't even make it to the end.

Looking forward to Blake's show. I'm excited.
