First Bruce, now Ja'Kobe... our bench was already weak and now it's even weaker.

Let the tank commence...

Damn, that's definitely not a good start to his career. Who's even next up? Rhoden? Battle? Shead? ugh.

Type I injuries involve a sprain or partial tear of AC ligaments with no injury to the CC ligaments. This causes a tender AC joint that often has mild swelling. Type I sprains usually heal within a few weeks.

Has the severity of the sprain been disclosed?

Seems like it could be a week-to-week thing. Maybe months if surgery is required.

I think surgery would have been scheduled already if needed.
What an absolute failure and disaster this franchise is, ran by one of the most incompetent front offices in the league.

Well this sucks
2019 Eastern Conference All Stars

Derozan
Lowry
Ibaka
Valanciunas
Van Vleet
Delon Wright
Lebron
Embiid

There are only 2 teams in the league that rank in the top 6 in offensive and defensive efficiency: the Golden State Warriors and the Toronto Raptors.

Sucks the start of his career is going to be delayed a bit, but he was most likely going to start off in the 905 anyways.

Rookies not being available early in the season hurts the tank.
When will we just change the name of 25 of the 30 teams to the Washington Generals?

Please advise….

Why does it seem like lots of our young guys start their careers like this. Guys that miss training camp never really catch up. You know this will probably hamper him for the whole year to. The Raptors never seem upfront with their injury reporting.

A shoulder injury for a shooter is a death sentence, I guess well be seeing a lot more of Ochai

A minor shoulder separation can be 4-6 weeks. But who knows the actual severity here. This sucks for his 1st camp. Provides more incentive for him to strengthen his upper body as he looks kind of weak there to me.
Organization can be defined as an organized body of people with a particular purpose. Not random.

Ochai redemption tour. Walter would have been fun to watch but he needs to sit and watch anyway. He is still super young and raw. I doubt he would have played a big role.

I don't know about a big role but I think the plan was for him to get mins with the big club. Hes still gonna get burn but missing training camp is a huge blow, especially for a rook

You realize if he doesn't play then someone even crappier takes his spot to tank even further? There are no hidden players on this team that's going to save it from tanking lol

But Ochai shot like 40% from that one spot in college.

Sucks for Ja'Kobe, and his start in the NBA. Maybe some good is he'll get to learn a bit from watching.

Good for Ochai and Davion, who both just saw their minutes increase. Time for them to perform. It is a contract year for Davion, and could be considered a contract year for Ochai (was Ochai's last year already picked up by the team?).

Hits just keep on coming. Probably the only rookie that's worth a damn, at least for short term.

Coincidentally, both guys who are now out are supposed to be big pieces from Siakam trade: the garbage that keeps on giving.

I hope to see Chomche on the big boy team at least some of the year.
