If there are injuries- to a guy like iq rather than a jakobe- and with that disgustingly tough schedule to start the season...the decision might be made for the FO by the Christmas day games.

An IQ injury might actually be bad for the tank. What, we're going to go 2-18 instead of 3-17 in those first 20 games?

It would create a "wait until everyone is healthy" narrative that Ujiri and MLSE would be all too happy to buy into.

I want to know if this team and these players are good or not.

He seemed to be in a huge shooting slump with us last year. If he regains his Knicks form he’ll be worth the contract.
