LOL well here we go. If we don't even have RJ to start the year might as well fire up the tank.

Disappointing. This really felt like his "chance" to prove he was more than an overpaid bad contract. I really hope we are just being precautionary here.

pretty terrible news, kid was coming into his own I would of liked for him to keep the momentum he had. Hopefully its not serious and he'll be back soon.

RJ is in shape and has already been coached by Darko for half a year; not a big deal if he misses the rest of pre-season. Hopefully he doesn't miss too much regular season time.

I don't think it's that big of a deal, it's essentially the same thing as JKW, he is likely going to be fine for the season start. Possibly miss a week or something.

Not worried, this is pre-season so he was probably going to see reduced playing time anyway. Best to rest and then be ready for the regular season.

I kind of think so too. Google is talking about healing time for normal people who are fat and lazy lol. These are pro athletes.

Raptors injury report:
RJ Barrett - sprained AC joint, out for preseason
Ja’Kobe Walter - sprained AC joint, out for preseason
Bruce Brown - knee surgery, likely out for pre-season and longer
Immanuel Quickley - sprained thumb

Weird to have two players out with separated shoulders. Sometimes the bad injury luck is fate telling us to be bad.

I will enjoy seeing the rookies play. At least they get reps. I assume Gradey will also expand his role so I hope to see him play on ball a bit more.

I am hoping for a lot more Jamison Battle minutes more than anything.

He's probably missing the start of the season as well. We only have a 1.5 weeks left of preseason before the regular season starts.

It's starting to feel that way. I do prefer legit excuses for a season as opposed to having to be truly awful talent-wise like Washington to have a decent shot at a high pick.
