Thanks. Didn't know that part. I stand corrected.

That Puetle trade looking worst by the day... he was just what Team Canada needed to get to the Olympics finals... Olnyk was destroyed and totally unplayable.

Edny will be best player this draft... San Antonio will regret passing on him...

I really hope he turns into a great player, Team Canada needs him to shore up our pathetic frontcourt in the worst way.

It’s not case closed, but it’s looking pretty good for Edey being a solid NBA player if not better.

Still baffling that so many people were vehemently against picking him at 19, lol.

I’m salty enough about the Poeltl trade as it is, but I can’t really add this to it. The whole point is it would have started the tank earlier, so we shouldn’t have been in that range anyway. That said, there’s a reasonable chance Edey ends up the best player in this draft or at least top 5.

Edey being a stud would be huge for team Canada.
What an absolute failure and disaster this franchise is, ran by one of the most incompetent front offices in the league.

I am still baffled Clingan was ranked higher than he was.

It's no surprise that the two guys who put up the most impressive college stats -- Edey and Sheppard -- have looked like the most impressive rookies so far. The numbers rarely lie.

Do we remember those horrible takes that Edey would like Boban or Luka Garza. Those takes did not age well at all. lololololololol

Wouldn't be surprised if he's a top 5 guy from this draft.

I understand the "big stiff" argument, but anyone who historically dominated college like that...

Happy to see Edey defy expectations. Saw his highlights the other day and it was refreshing to see some post play for once in the modern game. He also went to the perfect spot for him in Memphis that makes use of old school bigs like him thanks to JJ's ability to rim defend/stretch things out along with Bane and Ja's need for a screener to open up his dribble drive game. He replaces a lot of Adams did for them.

Think there's a good chance the FO takes him if they kept the Spurs pick

I really liked Edey and could never understand that some felt he would be a bench backup at best in the NBA. I hope he develops into an all star.

I haven't heard of Clingan since the tourney. Has he even played this preseason?

He's only 20 so he's got that "potential" so many execs lust over.

Although, if he reaches his potential, he's probably Zack Edey.

He’s looked good. I thought he would look slower in the NBA game but he’s looked good so far.

That Poeltl trade has been so bad. Still can’t fathom why we did the trade with such limited pick protections. This one looks like it’ll hurt.

What are you guys talking about? Clingan is probably going to be one of the best passing big men in the league within a few years, and he's just a more versatile player than Edey is both offensively and defensively.
