Kawhi should probably look into retirement. He has already accomplished more than enough as a player - multiple championships and Finals MVP. He better get out before the Clippers are forced to trade him away from Los Angeles (in which case he will probably quit the NBA right then and there anyways I guess).

Trade of the decade when you consider SGA and Cason Wallace went the other way too.

He has 150 million reasons to not retire

True, but I doubt Kawhi would suit up for another team when the Clippers realize this guy is just damaged and will try to re-coup any value out of him.

He doesn't have to suit up for anyone for the rest of his career and he will still get paid the full amount of his contract.
Why would he give that up?
It's not his fault the Clippers signed him to the contract when everyone knows he's washed.

At this point he is just cashing in the money. Realisticly he should retire, his body clearly cant handle it.

We literally got THE best out of Kawhi, its actually kinda sad because if he were healthy throughout his career he might've been a top 10 player all time.

Fully healthy Kawhi would be in the GOAT convo IMO. Just his accomplishments in such an injury riddled career puts him as one of the greats of his generation. Which is nuts when you think about the players who are also considered greats in that generation, Lebron, Curry, KD, etc.

The goal is probably to get him to April for playoff basketball if they can make it in with him playing just a small chunk of the regular season.

Needed this guy to push Scottie further out of the All-NBA picture.

He easily had a top-3 peak in his generation. The only guys with a case over him are LeBron and Steph. Jokic too, if you consider him part of that generation.
