Thinking back to when the Raptors were abysmal (Bosh era, Bargs era) yet I was enjoying every minute of every game. It was because I was so bought in. I was consuming every bit of text and video on the raps that I could. I'm trying to get back into that mindset.

I suspect, but hope I am wrong, that this game will be a stinker from Barnes. I keep getting the vibes that he doesn't like to play hard if it is poor competition. Hopefully Gradey keeps playing really well.

Would be a good idea since he was quoted yesterday as saying he's still unsure of his condition. These games are meaningless.

Makes me wonder how they will manage injuries this year. Outside of Barrett's injury we don't know when Quickley or Ja'Kobe got injured before training camp. Considering Masai's messaging is that the Raptors are rebuilding they will take their time in bringing back their injured players.

Assuming no RJ or Quickly can we get like 20+ Battle minutes.

Grange/Blake mentioned Raps want IQ to get a pre-season game in before the season opener, so he might play tonight. If so, I'll tune in for a bit to see how he looks.

Waiting for Dennis Schroeder to go off on his former team. You know it is coming because That's who he is.

I hope there is a fun battle with Gradey and Cam Thomas. I kind of see them going toe to toe shooting. Overall, I just want Gradey to keep playing free. When he is just calm and focused on scoring he gets into a special zone.

Lastly, I assume Carton will get more mins this game, so my hope is that he finally unleashes his dunk package. Once that happens the board will see the light as him being the true back-up PG option.

If that lineup gels well I would not be opposed to RJ coming off the bench when he returns. I initially thought Dick would fit that role, but I dont think we have room for both of them as starters.
