37 with the clinching free throws.

Could have been a Raptor all these years, but oh yeah, GTJ was younger.

i think their issues go beyond one game. what do you do when you have an aging, high-cap committed team and don't have many ways to improve on what you have? a very expensive treadmill. but at least they got that ring, so that eases things at least.

So you're saying they are the Bucks of the west?

Add it to the very long list of mistakes over the last 5 or 6 years that now have us where we are.

This board wanted to trade him for 2nd rounders. At the end of the day, it never made sense to keep him for 5 years at nearly 18 million a year especially at his age and his limitations.

Clippers are not going to do well with him in the starting lineup. Good player but the team needed to get younger.

What the huge fail? If you replace Trent for Norm the past few years, are we in any sort of different place?

Nope.

Not really; we may have overestimated Norm’s value a bit; he got paid a bit less than anticipated. Its actually the Trailblazers that flipped him to the Clippers. Norm can always put up some big games but he will also lay some duds. In the end Norm didnt really make much of an impact for Portland or the Clippers in terms of their success.

Pacers seem like a worse regular season team with Siakam.

They play a bit too slow with Siakam and that isn’t good because their defence is still horrible with him. They basically need to be a top 5 offence in the league or they aren’t really that good.

Maxey has completely dominated the pacers in this OT.
