Dick is rock solid.

my takeaway tonight - we may have some decent depth. we play hard and don't quit. just need everyone healthy.

Would of been interesting with iq and rj involved.

right now Scottie is trying to facilitate, and work with less spacing....Darko is just upping the difficulty.... it'll become easier when others get back,

Ochai/Dick - Super impressive
Battle - just knows exactly where to be at all times
Mitchell - 3rd string PG who's too weak offensively to be anything more
Barnes - has the ball in his hands on the perimeter far too much... get his ass on the block more often.
Rest - meh

Honestly a pretty good effort, actually have quite a few very interesting pieces on this roster. Gradey looks so much more comfortable this year than last, Mitchell is a disaster as a scorer but he's got really good pg vision, and is probably the best defensive pg in the league. Shead is similar, and ochai looks like he's figuring out his role. Along with mogbo and jakobe I think they're finally restocking the cupboard. Been awhile since we've had any organizational depth.

If they play this hard every game, it'll def be an easy watch all season even if they lose 60 games. Ochai and Gradey did pretty well against a tough defensive team and kept us in it after that rough start. Scottie clearly isn't at his best right now but he's still contributing.

Bench was alright and Mogbo's defense is already impressive. He's gonna be an analytics darling, if he isn't already with the way he impacts the game in various ways. Battle already being a rotation mainstay is cool to see. He plays like he belongs.

The turnovers will probably be a problem all season but I think we'd see a bit of an improvement having IQ/RJ back in the lineup at the very least. Would've liked to have at least one of them back for this one. Mitchell clearly isn't a starting level PG.

Anyway, the Wolves are a top defensive team, we were a on a b2b missing four rotation players/two starters. Anyone really all that upset after that one needs a bit of perspective.

The Nuggets will be an interesting case on Monday. They aren't playing too great themselves but they'll be hungry for a W after their poor start to the season. On to the next one.

in terms of game flow - got down huge early. then cut the lead between 10-12 then committed bad turnovers and minny would go back up 18-20. then we'd fight and cut it back down to 8 and then bad turnovers. at one point, minny had 20 pts off turnovers early in the 4th quarter.

Gradey has it man. He’s going to be so good for us long term. Star prospect from this draft, Scottie, and Gradey. That’s a solid young core.

We’re missing 4 of our top 8 rotation players. Minny didn’t take this game that seriously, but it was still a decent showing for the Raps.

It would be awesome if Ochai has figured things out. I may be in the minority but I like what I’m seeing so far. We have some intriguing pieces.

For some reason, Mogbo only got 9 minutes. But he was impactful. I've done a complete 180 in my opinion of him. He's a keeper. I want him on the court often.

Mitchell can't score, but he sure can pass and defend. Shead hit a 3.

Scottie with another 6 TOs. Is it playing with unfamiliar guys?

Not in the minority but now his expectations are raised.

Ochai looks like he can be a fantastic glue guy. I've been really impressed with him.

Scottie is working new elements into his game. I like some of what I'm seeing, but he's still figuring it out.

The nonchalant moments followed by giving up on the play is unforgivable though. I don't think you can win anything of importance with that attitude. I hate that the team seems to be normalizing the behaviour.

I'd hate to have a teammate like that.

Another entertaining game, considering most of the guys who contributed the last two games are guys we were expecting to play in the G League for most of the season. This team is easy to cheer for.

Ochai and Dick look like they've taken a leap.

Barnes is seeing the struggles of being #1 but like to see more of the aggression he showed in th second half all game.

We need an athletic big badly, someone who can roll and dunk at the rim. In this offense, the big would get so many easy baskets.

We picked up the wrong Bruno. Caboclo would be lightyears more impactful.

Mogbo's minutes...likely just being cautious on a b2b.

Lineup I would like to see get some burn is Scottie, Gradey, Ochai, Battle, Poeltl.

I know Darko is used to bringing young guys along slowly, but Shead and Mogbo are kicking that door. They're more advanced than Dick and Ochai to start last season.
