I know there is an Injury Updates thread, but I think this news is significant enough to warrant a thread of its own.




Unfortunate news. He played his best game against the Nuggets and it finally felt like he found his stride.

Fortunately, it's not a career altering injury for Scottie and he'll be back in a month. By then we should firmly be at the bottom of the standings.

Unfortunate that we still won't get to see our top 3 guys play a game together anytime soon but this is a good opportunity for Mogbo, the minutes are there for him to take advantage of.

Injuries are just helping the team disguise what it looks like was a plan to tank from the start.

Super random, freak injuries to our three most important guys - Scottie, RJ, and IQ.

Not to mention, the NBA awarded us the schedule of death to start the season.


It's meant to be. I'm excited to see which top prospect we'll be drafting from this absolutely LOADED draft, arguably the best since '03.

I can't even remember the last time BBQ and Poeltl played together in a game. Feels like it was a little after Siakam got traded...

On the bright side, if there's 1 season where we need to tank, it's this one. Team could be vastly improved heading into next year if the ping pong balls fall right and our guys continue to develop.

Sort of felt like this was coming. Hope he gets the Embiid Batman mask.

We play 16 games over the next 30-ish days and I honestly can only see 2 that we have a chance in, both against DET.

If this is a cursed year which forces a mega tank and we get a top pick id be pumped for next season and even though we have been losing the team is entertaining and playing hard while developing the young guys
