Would Darko be a head coach on another team?

I thought Kevin O'Neal was bad, atleast we were good defensively.
Does this guy even has any type of system?
Does he really used printout instead of drawing up plays?
I understand this is all good for the tank, but this guy is gone sooner than later once we get the first overall pick
Every game we start off getting blown out,
By half time we're always down by twenty
Aside from were a team with young guys? Would Darko really be a coach on another team?
To the polls!

We're a team that talent wise is high 30 win talent if everyone is healthy.
We have missed our top three players for most of the season along with two additional key bench players for the entire season. Our current roster is probably bottom three.
We have no real backup center and we've played three rookies at least major minutes. We're starting Davion Mitchell.
You can probably judge him better with a healthy roster but theres no point judging him with a patchwork roster during a development year.
And I would say the rookies have looked good and so has Gradey so I think he may have a knack for developing guys.
As well RJ being a significantly better player here than he was in NY.

He is not a "good" coach but the Raptors have had some really really bad coaches. So no.

Enough of this developing player talks
Gradey developed himself
HE WORKED on his game, has nothing to do with darko

I mean, we've had a coach not even show up to start the game.

He seems to be decent developmental coach at least. I have serious doubts about his coaching ability as he's prone to silly/dumb mistakes in actual competitive games but the team's talent just isn't there right now and has a lot of injuries on top of that so coaching's not really a top priority right now besides development.
I do wonder often if maybe he's our Mark Jackson. The guy who does the dirty work then gets the boot just as the team is about to get going in favor of a real coach. Probably will go back to being an assistant.

I think they players are the ones that have been developing their game
Not Darko developing their game

No, and it’s probably not even close.
Seems like a good time to mention that we interviewed JJ Redick for the job. Maybe it wouldn’t have been the best fit (though that team was still trying to win), but people acted like it was ridiculous.

Well if you don’t believe coaches can impact development, why do you think they can make players play better?

I believe gradey worked on his own game with Scottie and ocai thus summer like he did
Let's not give Darko the benefit of the doubt here

But let’s bash him?
So pretty much we aren’t allowed to say anything good about Darko because it goes against your narrative?
You don’t think coaches impact development at all?

Not even close to worst, we've had completely unhinged coaches in Kevin O'neill AND Darrell Walker who were not only extremely bad coaches, but not great people. Darko at least is a players coach who stands up for his guys. Darrell was so bad to Tmac, Tmac went out of his way to call him out in his HoF speech.

Why make a thread then?
Again - do you think coaches have any impact on development? Yes or no?

Our best coaches have all been competitive on the defensive end. IMO the biggest impact a coach can have is getting his team to play defense and commit to exert maximum effort on that side of the ball.
The last two years have been among the worst defensive coached Raptor teams. There is no pride out there. It doesn't matter the quality of the opponent this team can give up a 15-0 run in a matter of minutes.

How can we even gauge this?
Last year we had a revolving roster door.
This year everyone is injured.
So far I'm impressed that our terribly injured team has been competitive in most games.
