These games might become more interesting than the Raps games, especially once Shead, Mogbo, Walter get some action.
They played last night, a 101-95 loss and are now 1-2 on the season. Coming in off the bench, Chomche played 24 minutes, had 12 points (5-10 FG), 9 rebounds, 4 blocks, 1 steal. He also picked up 6 fouls.
Boxscore:
https://www.espn.com/nba-g-league/boxscore/_/gameId/401712279Chomche in his 3 games so far:
Game 1: 14 MIN, 0 PTS (0-1 FG), 4 REB, 3 BLKS
Game 2: 13 MIN, 2 PTS (1-3 FG), 3 REB
Game 3: 24 MIN, 12 PTS (5-10 FG), 9 REB, 4 BLKS, 1 STL

Going to the game on the 24th for my 3 year olds birthday. Hoping I can get him to actually wear his Lowry jersey.

I want the vets to get healthy so Shead, Battle, Mogbo and Walter can get the required reps with the 905 to work on areas they can't in the NBA. It'll be important for their confidence and development to do so.
Not only that but it should help with the trade value of the vets. Then once those vets are actually traded, the youngsters will be better equipped to take over full time later this year/next season.

Hey, if you can convince a 3 year old to not go out naked, or in a superhero costume, you've won.
Though if your kid is a superhero kinda kid, you COULD try to market Lowry as one - he kinda was for us! lol.

I agree, but tbf, Darko is allowing those guys (as much as he can) to get those reps in, and allowing them to play outside what would normally be their allowed roles.

Will def try to catch more games. Especially when the current 2-ways and other young guys get more PT.

It looks like Carlson is doing alright based on boxscores.
Chomche seems to be having trouble with fouls as you would expect. Hopefully he can get this out of his system while with the 905

Agreed but it's still happening on a very limited basis. We need to see Shead work on his jumper in games, Mogbo to learn to do anything scoring wise aside from dunks, Walter to get stronger (Dick program needed) and so forth.
They will get a lot more opportunities to do this in the G League while helping to build their confidence. It's worked so practically everyone one of our rookie success projects.

Love going to 905 games: super affordable courtside seats, friendly fans and arena staff, wine available, lots of families etc.
But some of the Mississauga wannabe celebrities who sit courtside in their fur coats, sunglasses, bling, texting on their phones during the game are hilarious

Yeah - I'd rather them develop on our team with Lots of mins. Tank on

He chases blocks like crazy so the high foul rate is to be expected. JJJ still commits a ton of fouls after all these years.
Part of it will be him just learning to read the floor better to be in better positions, and part of it will be him becoming more opportunistic on when he chases a block.

Problem is that the guys i mentioned aren't playing major minutes for the big club. Once the vets comeback, they'll barely touch the court. I'd rather increase their reps with the G League squad for now. It's worked wonders for practically everyone single development success story we've had.

Nice! That will be fun.
If you don't mind me asking, how much do they run?
We are going to grab some courtsides at some.point.

Yeah once we get healthy i'm sure they'll get some G league run. I'm not that concerned about it overall. The guys who need the most G league run are on the team now...ie Chomche.

Chomche in his first start in the gleague played 14 minutes, he had 4 points (2-5), with 4 rebs, an assist and a block. Ran into foul trouble early.

Are all games broadcast on YouTube or was that just the first game? Is it possible to sticky a 905 thread so people can comment on each game?
