Re: OKC Sign Carlson
I thought he looked really solid in some of the preseason and g-league games I've seen. I hope we don't regret not signing him. They could have traded Bruce Brown for a pick to open a spot up

Okc gm is being cheap here. They are a contender and they sign someone who couldn't even beat Burno for a spot on a nba team?

Meh. I hope Branden gets some run with them and finds his opportunity. He looked overmatched as a 25yr old rookie, but maybe he can still fill out and get stronger.

Re: OKC Sign Carlson
In three starts with the 905, Carlson has averaged 14.3 points on 51.5 per cent from the field with 8.7 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 1.7 blocks.
The Raptors will not receive any compensation for the signing, as he joined the 905 as an affiliate player after being waived from his two-way contract by Toronto ahead of the season. However, if he is waived by Oklahoma City, the Raptors will be able to re-sign him as they hold his G League rights.
Carlson was signed as an affiliate player by the 905 after the Raptors waived him, so OKC was able to still acquire him. But the 905 can re-sign him if OKC waives him.
Good luck dude. Hopefully he puts on more muscle, gets stronger and improves his shooting for a role in the league.

11-2 team signs him but not good enough for a 2-11 team?
Organization can be defined as an organized body of people with a particular purpose. Not random.

This guy gonna go off, he fits their scheme. They can use him the same as Chet, Presti doesn't sign anyone without doing his homework. Watch this guy become a solid player in their system.

Re: OKC Sign Carlson
Damn. I really like him as a player and was hoping we would sign him once some trades were made and spots were opened up. He is 25, though. Maybe they don't see much upside at that age.

Re: OKC Sign Carlson
Lol calm your teets. He's just a 7 foot body they can use for a few weeks until Chet is back, then back to the G league he goes. I liked him in summer league, but he's clearly not ready to be a full time NBA player.
