Gotta give some love to the boatmen. They've had a incredible run these playoffs. Especially that defense. Huge underdogs, backup QB and they still thumped the Bombers. Great job, boys.

The QB shuffle that each team deals with every season is kind of hilarious.

Hard to take a 9-team league seriously, but gotta respect the history just a bit. 111th Grey Cup is pretty wild.

I agree. I respect the league, but I would be more invested with more teams. Surprised they have not expanded more.

The style of football is great, just need more competition

Like where though? They could maybe add a team in Halifax but that would be it.

If they could make it a 10 team league...that would make it more interesting. One team in the maritimes (more if the population would support it). Quebec City would have the population to support a CFL team. It's about the same size as Ottawa and Hamilton. Do Quebeccers watch CFL? There could be some fun rivalries with Montreal or the maritimes team.

I have always thought Maritimes, Quebec City, Saskatoon would be the preferable "3" to add.

East - Toronto, Hamilton, Ottawa, Montreal, Quebec City, Halifax
West - Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton, Regina, Saskatoon, Winnipeg

I don't think 9 teams really matters - a smaller league is better for one that is the CFL's size as teams cannot survive being irrelevant for a decade plus like they can in the NFL or NBA. 9 teams means your rebuilds are quick.

Another plus - you can follow the entire league and watch every single game if you want. Impossible to do in other league.

The one negative for expansion is the CFL right now struggles to get 9 quality QBs. More teams more talent spread thinner.

cant even lie, I was cheering against them, I root for Ottawa (when I lived there the team debuted and I had a lot of fun)

so I go to every game at BMO I can, and that included the first round of the playoffs, the Argos fans was all cool, but I am salty they was doing the "na na na, na na na, hey hey hey goodbye" as I was walking out
