Golden State may try and nab Purtle

The Warriors could surprise the NBA world by pursuing an undervalued Toronto Raptors center.
“While he may not get a ton of buzz in the national media, Jakob Poeltl is playing some of the best basketball of his career for the Toronto Raptors this season,” The Lead’s Tye Hooker wrote Sunday.
“Alongside RJ Barrett, Poeltl has helped turn Toronto into one of the league’s most intriguing young basketball clubs. So far in 2024, the 29-year-old has registered 17.0 points, 11.9 rebounds, and 2.6 assists.
Who would we end up with at C? We'd really be going for the first pick. This move would help our development.

Let's hope for Edey + future 1st rounder. Would come full circle + more for people like me who hated on the original trade lol

I did a web search to find the source of this and it is just one of those ‘articles’ where the ‘writer’ or AI, suggests a few trade targets for a team to go after. In the article they suggest yak would help space the floor.

Keep dreaming. There is a 0% chance that the Raptors get Edey and a 1st, plus the money obviously is not even close. I understand that PER is not the best stat, but both players have a PER of 20.

Aren't they trying to offload DeAnthony Melton? It will probably look something like Melton+Looney+pick for Poeltl

Not sure how Poeltl fits with Draymond.
If I had to pretend like this might happen, it would be Looney + Melton + 1st. Do I take this? I'm not sure tbh.

Absolutely not. At minimum it would need to be Melton, Moody and a 1st. Yak is worth more than expirings and a late 20s 1st. But I think it would probably need a few 2nds too thrown in.
