Yeah. I am stupid. Call me names. But you put a $10 bet on them winning it all with a payout of $10K, is much better odds than playing lotto max or 649.

I also did a $10 parlay of Raptors and Steelers winning it all, the payout on that is $250K.

I don't care about the $20 i put down. But if it hits, yeah I'll care. lol

If you want to be ridiculous from a Toronto perspective then place a wager on the Blue Jays now before they have a chance to make big off-season moves. I'm not saying they'll win it all but the odds of them winning it all from now to after free agency is over will go down immensely imo.

There's longshot bets, then there's bets where you're just throwing money away. This is the latter. Basketball is one of the sports where championship teams are known even before the season starts. It's not like hockey, or even football, where a cinderella run is possible (football because of the 1 game playoff format, and hockey because there's just SO many players on each team, and so many lucky bounces that can happen, plus 1 hot goalie can win it all).

Basketball you need to have your well-rounded top 8 guys, and more importantly, you also have the requirement of 1-2 top 20ish superstar(s). Unless you have the 2 superstars, the 1 you do have needs to be a MVP candidate (Jokic, Giannis). We definitely don't have the latter, and we don't really have the former even though our depth is improving.

I went heavy on OKC preseason to win it all at about 9:1 odds. Those odds have been slashed in half now at about 4.5:1

I don't really know how the Steelers are winning TBH. I didn't not expect their offense to be actually capable of generating points.

I think they'l get exposed in the playoffs but clearly not as bad of a bet as the Raptors lol

The odds on the Raptors to be a playoff team aren't bad, maybe should have settled on that instead

Masai will trade our 2025 first at the deadline for an expiring for the playoff push so its a decent bet.
