OT: Unwritten Game Thread Rules?

Another poster made a thread a while ago about this. I couldn't find the thread so I made this one.

I don't see the game threads made in advance. We should have them up 24 hours in advance to talk about the game, match ups, expectations, etc as a pre game activity.

My question is, can anyone make the game thread 24 hours prior? Is that too early? If it's a back to back, can we make it immediately after the prior game is finished?

I love basketball and the Raptors have been my team for a long time. I use to post on reddit and I enjoy this community a lot more. Sometimes things get hostile and we debate with each other and we're at each others throats. But that passion is great. I'm going through employment issues right now and it's one of the ways I get my mind off of life and all it's problems.

TLDR I love this community and what we have going on here. Let's get these pregame threads made earlier and embrace this rebuild and developmental period.

I believe we can make the threads 24 hours prior. It just hasn't been happening because we are 7-15.

The unwritten rule is that after a win, OP of the last game thread gets to make the next game thread, until the Raptors lose. Once the Raptors lose, anyone can make the game thread. So the restriction is on WHO can start the GT after a win.

I am not aware of restrictions on WHEN a game thread can be started and I've been here 20+ years. So if that restriction was put in at any point, that's news to me.
